Chance is somewhat less developed I thought, but still has a distinct personality of his own and isn’t just a cardboard cutout character. Because he’s too busy trying to find Cat because this story is set after the first book he delegates the task to a Vampire that used to be of his line – Chance.
Overall, a fun read, and I truly do hope to see more of these characters in the future. I actually really enjoyed this novella. Up From the Grave.
She goes along with Robert’s rediculous demands – agreeing to a date, getting fitted to his mother’s wedding gown and playing the attentive sometimes fiancee, all to keep her brother safe. And since Isa hasn’t heard from her brother in quite some time she has no choice but to believe him. She’s spunky and still got a lot of life in her. It was originally published in an anthology Weddings from Hell I think it was called and has now be released as a single ebook. Immortal Ops Books I’d certainly recommend this to any fans of Jeaniene Frost or of the Night Huntress series, but also to fans of paranormal romance or urban fantasy in general.

Lists with This Book. I did have a few questions about why she was frot to give up some of the things she has to in the end, but mostly felt the story was resolved fairly well and am willing to overlook the slightly rushed feeling that the romance between her and Chance had given the length of the work.

I have most likely already drug my children to the store, am back home, and reading my copy. I am such a huge fan of Cat and Bones love story that I wasn’t sure how I would react to hqppily of the other Jeaniene Frost love stories. Frost did not even try to remind readers of who Chance was and his history with Bones, she simply made a brief reference that Bones had been Chance’s master but now Affter was a Master himself.
