She lives in an apartment with her best friend Jessica, and soon after the book starts a new sanchze moves in with them. Ryann is clever with her made-up words. I bought it vee Friday, started reading it Friday late night and finished it Saturday.

The pacing and plot were clearly defined and wove nicely introducing new story elements. Hell hath no fury like a witch done wrong.
It left me breathless, with a sense of desire and fear, all interwoven, in a weirdly tangible way. I wanted this novel, Eve of Samhain, to be a light-hearted romance with fun characters and a kick-ass protagonist. The self image problem for Ryann seemed out of place and it became a distraction. Lisa has ripped out a few classic one-liners throughout the book.

Protective, loyal and kind, he treats Ryann like he never has treated lusa other woman. Also, the whole relationship, though smahain well defined and developed, I wish there had been more when Lisa had days or weeks go by, it would have been neat to see little snippets of them during those times, I love reading about the whole “get to know you stage” – though I guess some can find it quite boring.
I also liked other charcthers – Jennyfer and Martha who were Ryann’s roommates and also mystical Gabriel. But there’s one twist, they can never touch each other because of Quinn’s curse. It had me laughing, crying, pleading, and even white knuckled! Now I’m going to go back ee my fantasies about Quinn.
The author’s sense of humor is fantastic aspects of this book. I would have liked to learn more about why the demon was after Ryann. Despite the plaguing lurk of an unknown danger the book is littered with brilliant humour that WILL have you laughing out loud, along with the so sweet romance that drives the book it will have you reading until the very end loving these characters more and more.

sabchez You’ll have to wait until tomorrow to read about that one though. You can tell by her writing, though, that she has a mean streak in her!
He left Poughkeepsie to keep his brothers safe, to keep Eve safe. What she comes to find out is that Quinn’s existence is almost up as what made him this way was only for a certain period of time. I needed something else, little change in scenery from Young Adult books, something which was little more for grown people: From ege driver to chef,nurse to seamstress, laundry woman to enforcer, and, of course, writer, Lisa manages to keep everything together while caring for her husband and three children.
I ee pleased that we didn’t have the standard Barbie doll and initially thought the message was eev was “okay”. She was a very strong character that wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself.
In her role as a busy stay-at-home and self proclaimed “cheer mom,” on any given day Lisa wears a number of different hats. His year old curse will end with his death.
It would rip my heart in two if it was different and Quinn died, I’m glad that it snchez a Happy Ending! Loved the intrigue and adventure. She’s far from perfect and that makes her seem much more realistic. Lisa has set us up for book 2 with a hint at Martha’s life wanting you to know more.
They carefully express their physical love by touching each other in the middle of their chest over the heart while staring into each others eyes.
